Welcome to the Connections Program, with versatile and flexible lessons that accommodate a wide spectrum of skill levels. Our program is designed to be adaptable, making it an excellent choice for mixed ability classes and providing an inspiring experience for adults and older learners with varying learning paces.
Flexibility
This program is built on the foundation of flexibility. Each piece has multiple entry levels and challenges to build on, ensuring every student is able to be successful at their level.
Students listen to and interpret piano pieces from various historical periods like Baroque, Classical, and Romantic, ensuring a broad understanding of styles and genres.
Historical basis
Musical skills
Students practice basic skills like beat, rhythm, and pitch, and practice reading and writing notes on the staff. You can learn and practice whether you've had previous experience or this is completely new.
Creativity
Students are given opportunities to improvise and compose their own music, giving them skills in music creation along with music performance.
Learning Environment
The Connections Program creates a learning environment where participants with varying abilities and experiences can inspire and support each other.
